April 2018 - Irish charm

I've just spent the last 4 days in Ireland driving the length and breadth sourcing the plants for our show garden the 'Sun Smart Garden' for The Bloom Flower Show in Dublin in May, we've also been visiting our sponsor for the show. A big thanks to Silverstream Landscapes who have kindly taken on the task of building our garden along with Saxa Landscapes who has sponsored and will be installing the resin pathways and seating . I've visited our hedging sponsors www.maturehedges.ie  who've picked out the best premium instant hedging for our garden.

I've been to half a dozen nurseries sourcing and making sure plants are available in time for the show, this has been a difficult job as the plants are so far behind due to the weather we've been having. We even called in to take a preview look at our trees , they don't look like much at the moment but in about 6 weeks they are going to look fantastic...

Not forgetting our visit to the Marie Keating Foundation office to discuss all the last minute details in preparation for start of build.

as I'm sat here waiting for my return flight to the uk I'm feeling both the excitement and pressure building with only 4 weeks to go before the start of build and less that 6 to the start of the show, I've a lot to do to be ready...
